IN THE LAST DAYS

As I was praying the Lord spoke to my heart about the church of today and
their desire to be politically accepted. One day as I was watching one of the
national morning talk shows, they were featuring a young man that was just
starting out as a Minister of God. This young man was only about 5 or 6
years old. He was very smart and seemed to know the word and how to
apply it, and this only comes from the Holy Spirit. As the interview
proceeded, these two female hosts appeared to be really impressed with his
knowledge, until one of them which is a Buddhist, ask him if she, being a
Buddhist, would go to heaven when she died. The young man studied her for
just a moment and then told her that if she didn’t have Jesus Christ as her
personal savior she would go to Hell. From their reaction you would have
thought that this young man had slapped both of these women. They turned
to his father who was there watching and ask if he believed the same way,
his answer was, that is what the Bible tells us, and that is fact. Needless to
say the interview was over at this point, and they ushered the father and son
out and went to break. After the break, they brought out their so-called
expert on the Bible. He immediately apologized for those things that the
Ministers had said to them and assured the Buddhist that she had as good a
chance to make it into Heaven as any Christian, and that Jesus Christ was
not the only way.
Now at the time I thought that these women had just grabbed one of their
staff members from the back and called him an expert, just to make their
point, (he certainly didn’t know God’s word) but since then I have learned
that some so-called Churches are teaching this same thing. There was a poll
of people who attend church, across America taken, thirty percent of those
who were polled, said that Jesus Christ had sinned, and fifty seven percent of
those who were polled thought that there was more ways to get to Heaven
than through Jesus Christ.
The liberal thinking of today thinks that we as Christians do not have the
right to judge other religions as not going to Heaven. Many Pastors and
teacher of the word have yielded to the pressure of this liberal thinking, and
have chosen not to judge these other religions. Are they right? The Bible
says that they are wrong. Can we judge other people? Well the Bible says
that we shouldn’t judge others. So you may ask me how are they wrong? I
will answer that; because the word of God has already judged them, and
found them wrong.
Let us go to Romans 1:21. Because that when they knew God they glorified
him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations
and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise,
they became fools.
These people have compromised the truth of God’s word, and that is sin.
Because they have compromised they have led those who are in their
congregations into sin. Their blood will be on the hands of those false
preachers on judgment day.
2 Timothy 2:5 tells us clearly that there is one God and one mediator
between God and men, the man Jesus Christ; who gave himself a ransom for
all, to be testified in due time.
Let us go to St. John 14:5, where Jesus was telling the Apostle Thomas
about the way to Heaven. Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not whither
thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I am the
way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me. Now if
these people are preaching any other teaching that isn’t in the word of God,
they are teaching a false doctrine. The Bible tells us clearly to come out from
among them. If you are a member of a church or domination that teaches a
false doctrine, the Bible tells us to separate ourselves from them. To know
the way to heaven is to know Jesus, and the way to know Jesus is to ask God
to forgive your sins in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already paid the
debt for your sin. There is no other way to heaven but through Jesus Christ.
We are in the last days before, just before the tribulation period. You may
ask me how I know this, well Jesus told us to watch the signs of the times
that are given in Matthew 24, and Luke 21. Jesus also told us to watch and
pray always that we would be accounted worthy to escape all of those things
that will come upon the Earth during this period.
In 2 Timothy chapters 3, tells us that in the last days perilous times shall
come. We are living in those perilous times now. Jesus said in Matthew
24:5, for many shall come in my name saying that I “Jesus” am Christ and
shall deceive many. In verse 11 and many false prophets shall arise and shall
deceive many.
God has given me a burning desire to warn his people of the coming of the
Lord, and of the things that Satan is doing to deceive Gods people in these
last days. I urge you to read the Bible so that you will know what God has to
say first hand. Satan is making his final assault on the Christians and the
Jewish nation before the return of Christ. Stand firm in the word and in your
faith in God.
