Micromedex Mobile Apps – Frequently Asked Questions
How are the ‘global’ (outside the US & Canada) apps different from those already available to
users in the US & Canada?
From a functionality standpoint, the global apps are identical to the apps currently available in
the US and Canada. The only difference is that the global apps (outside the US & Canada) must
be unlocked using passwords provided to Micromedex 2.0 customers online. This means that
non-Micromedex customers are not able to utilize or purchase these apps.
I am not a Micromedex customer but I can access / have been accessing Micromedex apps
outside the US & Canada for free. What does this mean for me?

now been free to non-customers in some countries. However, at the end of October, these will
be replaced by the password protected apps outside the US & Canada. Going forward the only
way to access Micromedex apps for Apple devices outside the US & Canada will be to purchase
an online subscription to Micromedex.
