Congruence Properties
Two triangles are congruent if:
1.
Two sides and the angle in between them of one triangle are
congruent to the corresponding parts of the other triangle.
Side-Angle-Side (SAS)
2.
Three sides of one triangle are congruent to the
corresponding sides of the other triangle.
Side-Side-Side (SSS)
3.
Two angles and the side in between them of one triangle are
congruent to the corresponding parts of the other triangle.
Angle-Side-Angle (ASA)
4.
The hypotenuse and one leg of a right triangle are congruent
to the corresponding sides of the other triangle.
Hypotenuse-Leg (HL)
5.
One angle and the side opposite it along with a second angle
of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding parts of
the other triangle. Angle-Side-Angle (ASA)
