Job Posting: Building and Electrical Safety Inspector Logan County Building Authority The Logan County Building Authority is accepting applications for a Building and Electrical Safety Inspector. The Building and Electrical Safety Inspector will ensure and maintain compliance with applicable building and electrical safety regulations for building construction, alteration, and repair projects within the jurisdiction of the Logan County Building Authority. Job tasks include field inspections of residential buildings and comprehensive plan reviews for compliance with applicable codes. The Building and Electrical Safety Inspector will communicate with contractors, architects, engineers, and with the general public to resolve building plan deficiencies and code violations and to recommend corrective actions. On-sites inspections and other duties will be performed as required. Qualifications: Ohio Certified Residential Building Inspector and Ohio Certified Electrical Safety Inspector credentials required. Valid Ohio Driver’s license and acceptable driving record are also required. Applicant must complete a preemployment drug screening and background check. This is an hourly position, 8-4, Monday through Friday. Job applicants must provide a resume and completed application to the Logan County Commissioners Office, Attn: Brian Dunn, 117 E.
