Ebola Virus
-An infectious and generally fatal disease marked by fever and severe internal
bleeding, spread through contact with infected body fluids.
Symptoms:
-start within 2 days- 3 weeks
Fever
Heavy Sweating
Vomiting
Stomach Pain
bleeding/ Bruising

History of Ebola
In 1976, Ebola named after the Ebola River in Zaire first
emerged in Sudan and Zaire. The first outbreak of Ebola
infected over 284 people, with a mortality rate of 53%. A few
months later, the second Ebola virus emerged from
Yambuku, Zaire, Ebola-Zaire.
How can you get Ebola?
- The virus is not airborne.
- Any needles that have been in contact with someone
contaminated with the virus.
- Direct contact with body fluids, blood or corpse who is
infected.
- Health care workers, Doctors, and Nurses are most likely
