Theme and variations are also used in many types of music as well as
ground basses. The theme is the original idea (which can be borrowed from
another composer) and then the variations of that theme then follow.
Write down below what ways the theme could be changed to make it a
variation. I can think of at least five or six. Think about every possible way it
would be slightly changed…
