Confucian lived from 551 to 479 B.C.E. He was born in
a small state called LU in eastern china.
During Confucius life in china it was peaceful and in
order.
The five basic relationships are ruler and subject,
husband and wife, father and son, older sibling and
younger sibling.
The people would have to obey those above them in
the basic relationships.
The influence Confucius had on the Chinese
government was the Chinese culture.

Laozi is the name of a legendary Daoist
philosopher, the alternate title of early Chinese
history better known as the west Daodejiang.
 According to the Daoism people should be
happy and live peacefully.
 Yin means “shaded” and Yang means “sunlight.”
 Daoism encouraged rulers to rule less harshly.

