Science AIMS Review Electricity and Magnetism Magnets Opposites attract Like repels The force between two magnets depends on how close they are. http://www.fotosearch.com/photos-images/magnets.html Electricity Electricity flowing through a circuit can produce light, heat, sound, and magnetic effects Electrical Circuits Series circuit - connected along a single path, so the same current flows through all of the components If the current is stopped at any of the bulbs, none of the light bulbs will work. Parallel circuit - Current can flow through each of the bulbs without first having to flow through any others. If any of the bulbs fail the others will still work as current can still flow through the rest of the circuit. Conductors Allow electricity to flow through them Insulators Items that restrict the flow of electricity
