Preparing to report at the second target period
1st December 2016
Preparing to report at the second target period
Please find below some important updates/reminders:
1. Invoicing – we will be issuing the invoices for 2017 CCA fees during January.
• If your company requires invoices to contain purchase order numbers please contact the helpline to
inform us of the relevant PO number.
• If you have not yet informed us about any sites that have closed please do so immediately. If we are
not informed before the 21st December then you will be liable to pay the Environment Agency fee.
2.Target Period 2 reporting spreadsheet – we will issue your data collection spreadsheet(s) during
December to finalise your data for 2015 and 2016.
• Training sessions – we will be running training sessions in January for those who are unfamiliar with the
reporting process or the generalities of CCAs. Please contact the helpline if you are interested in
attending a session. We will publicise the dates when we send your data collection spreadsheet.
• Absolute target – if your company has a CCA based on an absolute target. In each CCA, if your average
annual production during Target Period 2 (2015/16) falls below 90% of that reported for the base year,
your target will be adjusted. The deadline for adjusting your target is 31st January 2017, therefore, we
must receive your finalised 2015 and 2016 production data by 20th January 2017. We will email you
during January to remind you.
• Disrupted energy supplies – if your energy supplies have been interrupted then your ability to meet the
CCA targets may have been compromised. In certain circumstances your target can be amended to
account for such disruptions, for example when an electricity supply is lost and a site needs to run off a
back-up generator. Please contact the help line as soon as possible if this has happened.
3. Timetable – we have previously communicated the timetable for reporting the second target period,
please find again below.
Pdf copies of all previous news emails can be found at http://slrconsulting.com/bmpa.
If you have any queries or comments, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
