2 Dimensional Figures
The two shorter sides of a triangle must add up to be longer than the longest side.
Similar figures
1. Corresponding (matching) sides are proportional. (You multiply all sides of one figure by the same
number to get the length of the sides of its similar figure.)
2. Corresponding (matching) angles are congruent (same).
Scale factor is the number that you multiply (dilate) one figure by to get the measurements of its similar figure.
The scale factor of the perimeter (side lengths) SQUARED is the scale factor of the area of similar figures.
