Central and Eastern Europe

Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Lithuania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey,
Romania, Hungary, and Japan)

To share various schemes and cases under the JCM

Cooperation for Technology Diffusion”

Main outcomes:
• Successfully co-organised the first collaborative seminar between MOEJ,
IGES and REC, which welcomed 37 important stakeholders from 10
countries.
• Initiated building a platform to encourage policy dialogue on
decarbonisation and low-carbon technologies (LCTs) between crosscontinental countries.
• Introduced the initiatives of Japan for promoting the diffusion of LCTs and
strengthened its presence in Central and Eastern Europe and South Eastern
Europe
