APNA presents a new and exciting opportunity for our industry partners to communicate
current information using APNA online advertising and marketing.
About APNA
The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) was founded in 1986. In the ensuing 24 years, APNA has grown
to be the largest professional membership organization committed to the specialty practice of psychiatric-mental health
(PMH) nursing and wellness promotion, prevention of mental health problems and the care and treatment of persons with
psychiatric disorders. APNA is the only PMH nursing organization whose membership is inclusive of all PMH registered
nurses (RN) including associate degree (ADN), baccalaureate (BSN), and advanced practice (APN) comprised of clinical
nurse specialists (CNS) and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
The membership is comprised of approximately 40% Psychiatric Registered Nurses and 60% Advanced Practice
Registered Nurses (APRNs). Members practice in all settings including inpatient, community, academic, research, in
public, private and public health institutions, and in high level administrative positions at state and federal levels.
Online Advertising Opportunities
APNA is committed to disseminating state-of-the-art information to the widest possible audience of PMH nurses. In
addition to its state chapter system, interactive website, print and electronic newsletters, and peer-reviewed journal, APNA
recently added a social networking website that provides discussion forums and member blogs.

E-Advertising - communicate current information using electronic marketing in the APNA E-Newsletter.
Email Newsletter
APNA members rely on email communications like the E-Newsletter for up to date
information on APNA and health care news, products and services, upcoming
educational opportunities and industry information.



Reaches over 20,000 psychiatric-mental health nurse members and non
members of APNA with subscription to the e-news.
Once a month email communication.
Maintains an open rate of 30%, click through rate of 17% and a subscriber
retention rate of over 99%.
APNA members receive the APNA E-Newsletter directly in their inbox every month.
Advertising with banner ads in the APNA E-Newsletter
● The fee for a banner ad is $1,500 per month, per E-Newsletter, for one horizontal banner.
● Banner ad placement is available at a position at the center of the newsletter, on a first come, first served basis.
● Horizontal banners measure 468 x 60 pixels.
Important Information
● Once purchased, your banner ad will only be included in the month you have purchased space for.
● Online banner ads must be submitted in GIF, animated GIF, or JPG format.
● If the ad is animated it must be GIF and not FLASH.
● Banner ads are due two weeks prior to your run date.
● All fees are nonrefundable.

Fees
● $1,500 for one banner ad in one months edition of one E-Newsletter (Center position)
● $4,000 for one banner ad in three months editions of E-Newsletter, one ad per E-Newsletter (Center position)
● $10,000 for one banner ad in twelve months editions of E-Newsletter, one ad per E-Newsletter (Center position)
