UniVision’s MV564DC microprocessor based on-site
receiver/driver (OSRD) decodes control data and driving
the motor for pan and tilt units, and zoom lenses. It is used
in conjunction with UniVision’s MV300 and MV900B
Series Microprocessor-Based Switcher/Controller System
and/or UV100 Series Programmable Sequential Switchers.
It
decodes
RS-422
control
data
from
the
switcher/controller system through the MV Series Signal
Distribution Unit into specific control codes.
Programmable lens polarity, pre-position settings are the
available functions of the OSRD. A combination of these
functions can be applied simultaneously, giving a higher
flexibility in the control of the cameras and lenses.
The programmable pan/tilt/lens/aux request duration
enable user to fine tune the performance of the motion ,
hence, a smoother pan/tilt motion. Therefore, a clearer and
better vision of the surveillance site. Pre-position function

memorized so that it could be recalled when required.
There are 8 pre-position memory locations available for
the OSRD.
A number of relays are available for activating wipers of
the camera housing, lights, and fan switches. These can be
configured to operate in either momentary or latch mode.
Depending on the requirement of the user, each relay can
be configured to be normal open or normal close.
MV564DC has a rugged weatherproof casing which is
good for both indoor and outdoor applications, ensuring a
reliable operation.
MV564DC incorporates dynamic electronic zone masking
that enables the privacy of those in adjacent areas not
under surveillance to be maintained. The size and shape of
the zone masks are automatically adjusted to compensate
for camera and zoom angle in order to maintain privacy,
whilst maximizing the view of the rest of the scene.
