1. Overview
This is a multi-functional NAS designed for home or small business. It provides SAMBA server
for file sharing, FTP server for remote access, and other servers, such as WEB server, MySQL
server, Download server (BT/HTTP/FTP/MetaLink), and iTune/uPnP server. Yet additional
powerful services of DDNS and PPPoE are included it is an excellent mini but super SOHO
server with its enriched networking features.
Native Server and Extension Server, SAMBA and FTP servers are two native servers which
are embedded in it nor-flash by default. Extension servers are installed in the HDD after the
NAS system is built up. It’s convenient for users to install the network services at their
discretion. Extension servers are WEB, MySQL, iTune, uPnP, Download server & DDNS service,
etc..
Efficient Raid management, equipped with Hardware Raid, it supports Raid 0, Raid 1.
Configured at HW raid, system & data rebuild and recync performs as high efficiency.
Humanistic HDD installation, rigid and elegant aluminum case with retractable tray, it is
convenient for HDD installation and replacement.
Quiet and smooth, Smart PWM control, the rotation speed of the FAN smartly varies in
accordance with the temperature status inside it. FAN speed divides into 4 stages according
to the leverage of the detected temperature.
Safe and smart power scheme, 3 seconds power button depressed on/off control will avoid
faulty power button operation. It memorizes the previous power status before abnormal
power break ie: power cut and resumes to its previous status after main power resumes.
Data crash restore, remote and scheduled backup help to preserve the precious data safely.
And data can be restored to avoid data loss and system crash.
Easily NAS connection, NASLink helps find the storage in the network easily. System info of it
is shown in the dialogue box, such as IP, MAC, and disk status. It’s easy to link to the web
management page of its by clicking “access via web” icon in the dialogue box. Users do not
necessary need to know where the storage is located in the network. All the functions
designed in it are pragmatic. The set-up procedures and operation are simple and
user-friendly. The embedded Linux system works highly stable and is affordable for home and
small business operation.
