EU expert meeting on the EMCDDA key epidemiological indicator
Drug Related Infectious Diseases (DRID), EMCDDA, 11-12 October
and DRID modelling session on 13 October 2010
Venue: EMCDDA, Cais do Sodré, Lisbon

Objectives:
Day 1 (DRID meeting):
 To review progress in the ongoing DRID implementation
 To obtain final agreement on the revised formats of behavioural items in Standard table
9 (part 3) and discuss the subsequent adaptations of the DRID example questionnaire
(http://www.emcdda.europa.eu/themes/key-indicators/drid).
Day 2 (DRID meeting):
 to continue the process of revision of the draft EMCDDA DRID protocol with specific
focus on starting the development of a ‘toolkit’ module on recruitment methods and
settings.
Day 3 (Modelling session - DRID meeting participants are welcome to attend):
 To review progress of the DRID modelling network and finalisation of the current stage
analyses (funded by WHO/Europe)
