DVD presentations, such as showreel DVDs for bands or actors. Multimedia presentations for CD-ROM or Web – such as a souvenir CD-ROM for a Gold Coast tourist magazine, which included video clips of the local attractions. This service has at times extended to layout artwork for music CD’s or film DVD/BRD discs. Plus other print work like posters, cards etc. Also audio editing and restoration, music CD production and mastering; video editing and production with authoring to DVD, or more lately, preparation for online exhibition. AUDIO ENGINEER / PRODUCER Diploma in audio engineering from the School of Audio Engineering (SAE). IN STUDIO Produced recordings for a range of bands and artists, including the production and mastering of the first EP from rock band Sick Puppies. LIVE Live mixing for bands, concert and theatre productions. SOUND DESIGN All sound design and music production for own filmmaking efforts listed earlier. Also for most Coast OnScreen productions and various other clients over the years. IT JOURNALIST/EDITOR 1990 TO 2012 – PC USER MAGAZINE / TECHLIFE Writer | Hardware & Electronic Publishing Editor For over 20 years was the resident multimedia expert for the magazine, dealing with all things related to audio and video production, graphics, 3D, or anything to do with creative digital media. This included a monthly column, and regular software reviews and features, with regular video tutorials for the monthly cover disc. Was also responsible for all major hardware reviews and features. As well as managing the magazine’s web site, and producing the monthly cover disc. 1990 TO 2012 – FREELANCE WRITER For a range of computer and music publications Way too many articles to list.
