Enlightenment, Neoclassical Period (1660-1797) Jessica Moore, Sara Michelle Ouellet & Taylor Lobban What is the Enlightenment, Neoclassical Period? o A movement during the 18th century in Europe which was characterized by a rational and scientific approach to religious, social, political, and economic issues in contrast to the biblical/religious approach or views of the past.
