THEATRE WORKSHOP 2014 REGISTRATION Instructed by ANNIE SNYDER Classes meet on Wednesdays at Ross Classes begin January 22, 2014 Registration is on Mon, Dec 16, 2013 from 6:00-7:30pm in the Ross Auditorium Lobby Ross Elementary PTO is sponsoring its Theatre Workshop program again this year. The following workshops will be offered this JanuaryLITTLE STARS is open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls. This is THE beginning workshop for children. Children will be introduced to speaking on stage, choreography, and singing. Some of the material covered will be selections from SING A RAINBOW, SMALL SMALL WORLD, and the LAUGHING PLACE. The goal is to have fun while learning stage skills. Class time - 5-6:00 p.m. Price - $80 payable to Annie Snyder. ANNIE SEQUEL is open to 5th grade girls and older (4th grade girls will be wait-listed, and welcomed on a space-available basis). This workshop is for the girl who would love to sing, dance and act her way across stage. The setting is 1933. All girls in the workshop are orphans, and are in every scene. THE HARD KNOCK LIFE, TOMORROW, and NEVER FULLY DRESSED WITHOUT A SMILE are the main song and dance numbers. Character development, stage singing and choreography are the areas of concentration. Class time – 6:15-8:15 p.m. Price - $100 payable to Annie Snyder. A show at the conclusion of the workshops will be presented by ALL workshop students! Show date (tentative) will be April 30, 2014 in the Ross Auditorium. Costumes will be provided. Scholarship assistance is available based on financial need; please inquire if applicable. A $10.00 registration fee (per family) is required, in addition to tuition price. Registration fee is payable by check to Ross Elementary PTO (cash is also accepted).
