Service Manager [NTRP] £27,325 - £32,200 PER ANNUM 37 HOURS PER WEEK BASED IN NORTH TYNESIDE Changing Lives Mission Changing Lives mission is to be an outstanding organisation which integrates socially excluded people back into society and improves their lives. Job Role To oversee the delivery of Changing Lives Role with in the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership (NTRP). Working with staff, service users, partner agencies and external stakeholders to ensure the service is delivery to a high standard. This role will be part of the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership. Job Responsibilities Deliver services to agreed quality standards and good practice protocols, ensuring a creative learning environment is developed. Act as lead individual within the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership for Changing Lives, working with Partnership agencies to ensure contractual requirements are met, providing line management to reporting staff. Implement and manage Changing Lives element of NTRP in North Tyneside. Emphasise recovery based solutions to staff and service users with abstinence promoted as a realistic goal. Effective Management of an abstinence based, 12 step day centre, ensuring programme integrity. Ensure that high quality case notes and records are maintained by all staff and partnership working is at the core of service delivery conducting audits where appropriate. Review recovery plans with staff and recovery coordinators to determine progress against agreed care plan outcomes. Identify and develop new elements of the delivery of Changing Lives Services in North Tyneside that will improve overall outcomes Provide information and reports on the operational performance of appropriate projects to inform future decision making and informing appropriate stakeholders. Represent Changing Lives at appropriate forums, locally, regionally and nationally to ensure strategic fit of services to current and future needs. Ensure that all data is captured for NDTMS purposes (National Drug Treatment Monitoring System) in line with contract requirements. Ensure that all contractual requirements are adhered to and reports completed on a timely basis when requested. Ensure that services are delivered on budget. There will be a requirement to work in various locations. To comply with all of Changing Lives Policies and Procedures. Experience of delivery /management of a therapeutic programme. Ability to work to competing deadlines, prioritising, and delegating work appropriately Ability to manage and coach a team effectively Ability to provide coaching, advice and guidance Ability to develop and motivate others Ability to work with complexity and identify creative solutions Ability to use basic Microsoft Office packages Firm understanding of 12 Step approach to recovery Commitment to the values of Changing Lives Commitment to equality and diversity Commitment to detail, ensuring all work is accurate, concise and understandable Understanding of how to work within professional boundaries Willing to work in cooperation Able to utilise own vehicle for work purposes Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
