Examples of communication difficulties
• Dyspraxia – problems of perception, language and
thought (poor co-ordination)
• Dysarthria – normal articulation is delayed
• Dysphasia – difficulty in arranging words in the
correct order
• Dysrythmia – stuttering
• Dysphonia – low pitch hoarse voice
