Power supplies
A metal glazed film is deposited on a high grade ceramic body.After a helical groove
has been cut in the resistive layer, tinnedelectrolytic copper wires are welded to
the end-caps. Theresistors are coated with a light blue lacquer which provides
electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection.

Essentially all tests are carried out in accordance with theschedule of
“IECpublication 60115-1”, categoryLCT/UCT/56 (rated temperature range: Lower
CategoryTemperature, Upper Category Temperature; damp heat,long term, 56days). The
testing also covers therequirements specified by EIA and EIAJ.
The tests are carried out in accordance with IECpublication60068-2, “Recommended
basic
climatic

procedure for electronic components” andunder standard atmospheric conditions
according to“IEC60068-1”, subclause 5.3.
In the Test Procedures and Requirements table the tests andrequirements are listed

shortdescription of the test procedure is also given. In someinstances deviations
from the IECrecommendations werenecessary for our method of specifying.
