as silt. The Nile comes from the
White Nile and the Blue Nile.

Governments &
Leaders--------------Ancient Egypt has had many
rulers throughout time. In 2200
B.C, various people fought to be
king. Eventually, people just
decided to share the kingship and
rule Egypt together. A man
named Hyksos came to Egypt
and brought new technology. In
1550 to 1525 B.C when Ahmose
was king, he threw Hyksos out of
Egypt.
The ancient egyptians had many
different religions and they
believed in many different gods.
Most people believed in a
 fterlife.
Amun-Re is a supreme god, also
known as a sun god. They also
believed that the sun gods grew
the crops. Some people

Mummification------------Kings and pharaohs were
mummified so that they could be
preserved and (as they believed)
live forever with the Gods . After
they were mummified they were
put into a tomb with some food.
Mummification was a hard and
long process. Any Egyptian
could be preserved, if they could
afford the process of having
themselves mummified, and
prepared for afterlife.
Daily
Life------------
Architecture Fast Facts- The
Step Pyramid Saqqara is the
earliest pyramid that is still
there today. The Step Pyramid
was built in 2630 B.C. The
architect of the Step pyramid
was Imhotep. The Egyptians
later worshipped Imhotep as a
god.The pyramid rose in six
giant steps. It was the burial
place of King Djoser. These
steps were meant as huge
stairway for King Djoser to
climb up to join Ra, the
sun-god.
Daily life as an Ancient Egyptian
was very hard. They had to do a
lot of things that we don’t have to
do today. They had to hunt and
farm their own food and crops.
They farmed onions, wheat,
peas, beans and garlic.
However, they did get to play
sports and games.
