Cardio respiratory system A cardio respiratory system is the cardio vascular system, (which is the heart and blood vessels) and the respiratory system (which is the lung and airway) working together. The cardio respiratory system sends oxygen to your muscles. It also removes wastes from you body like carbon dioxide. The cardio respiratory system is made up of nasal, cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi and the lungs. When you breathe the cardio respiratory system gets air from the nose and mouth. The air travelling through your nose and month to the pharynx then, larynx then, trachea then, bronchi then, goes into the lungs.
