 The reason for the Trojan War was because of Helen.
 Helen was married to Menelaus, a king who Helen did
not like.
 Helen was the prettiest person on earth.
 Paris was a prince of Troy that found out about Helen
through a Greek goddess named Aphrodite. Aphrodite
is the goddess of love.
 When Paris found out about Helen, he loved her the
minute he saw her. Paris did not know that Helen was
married to Menelaus. Paris hoped that Helen and he
could run off to Troy together.
 Since Paris loved Helen and she loved him, not
Menelaus, they ran off to Troy not telling Menelaus.
Menelaus was furious that Helen left him, so he got a
bunch of men together. There were so many men they
had to take 1,000 ships. They sailed to Troy and began
the Trojan War.
 I learned about Troy and how it came down.
 I learned about the Trojan War.
 I learned about the Trojan horse and how that brought
down Troy.
 I learned how Helen was only in Troy for just over ten
years and got the name Helen of Troy.
 Most of all I learned about Greek Mythology and I love
it.
