St. Luke's Medical Center-Global City has 14-story, 628-bed nursing tower with a helipad and a sprawling
podium that houses the ancillary services. The hospital was also among the Top 25 Most Beautiful Hospitals in
the world. It also opened a special heart unit for women. St. Luke’s Medical Center has over 1,500 medical
consultants, 230 medical residents and 123 fellows on its roster, apart from interns from its College of
Medicine. There are 644 nurses and 2,000 other paramedical, administrative and support staff.
St. Luke's is affiliated with Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. SLMC also have
affiliations with New York- Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
and Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
Radiologic Technologist

Technical








Provides accurate and quality Radiographic Images without supervision and gives outmost patient care.
Perform section’s procedures to patient based on the received request.
Handle and operate all machines and/or equipment properly during the conduct of the procedure.
Assist Radiologists during fluoroscopic procedures.
Gives proper detailed instructions and prioritize patient safety during and after procedure.
Prepares room, calibrates equipment, all necessary materials and supplies needed for every procedure
and reports any deficiency to immediate superior to avoid any delay or cancellation of procedure.
Orients and trains new trainees in performing procedure and in workflow on the section through proper
rotation in different areas and in different shift.
Administrative





Monitors and prepares request for the sections medical and equipment supplies to ensure smooth flow
of the procedure.
Processes and sorts films and other forms of result for systematic endorsement.
Registered patients for section’s procedures and systematically schedules them to avoid overlapping or
delay in the procedure without sacrificing the quality of image through proper coordination with
patient, nursing units and other referring hospital.
Prepares weekly and monthly census of the procedures conducted in the section for quarterly reports.
Performs other tasks assigned relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
