Hepatitis A virus • Hepatitis means inflammation of the liver • Hepatitis can be caused by a virus that gets into your body and attacks the liver. • There are five known hepatitis viruses: A, B, C, D & E. • Jaundice is only a symptom of Hepatitis. www.schoolofeducators.com Hepatitis A is a serious liver disease caused by infection with the Hepatitis A virus.
