Overview
The continually changing field of Infectious Diseases is pertinent to all
physicians; there is hardly another specialty in medicine that has as great a
need for constant reviews and updates. It is one of the most demanding areas
of medicine in terms of disease epidemiology and therapeutic regimens.
This conference will provide updates on sepsis, anti-microbial stewardship,
management of resistant organisms in cystic fibrosis exacerbation, emerging
infections, and rapid diagnostics.
