LOCUST PLAGUE BEFORE PASSOVER 2013
March 5, 2013: This update brings the past into the present. Appendix A, I
include a one-page study sheet from June 11, 2010: “Summary of the
Plagues of Ancient Egypt and the Plagues of the Tribulation Period”
Here are excerpts from two recent news articles from The Jerusalem Post:
Egypt Struck by Swarm of Locusts Ahead of Passover
By Hana Levi Julian -- First Publish: 3/3/2013
The locust plague struck over the weekend in the Giza region, home to a
cluster of famous pyramids, according to reports in Arab media.
Officials estimated that at least 30 million of the insects have
swarmed on to the fields and farms about 15 miles southwest of
Cairo. The locust swarm is causing massive damage to agriculture in
the area, Alwatan News reported.
Residents were warned not to try to drive away the locusts themselves in
order to avoid creating further damage. Instead, “Egyptian armed forces
and border guards are attempting to fight the swarm with all means
at their disposal,” said Egyptian Agriculture Minister Dr. Salah Abd Al
Mamon. In some parts of the Middle East, however, locusts are used for food
– and one particular ancient type, known to Yemenite Jews, is actually
considered kosher.
Mamon noted the weather forecasters have predicted strong winds
are soon to come, which he hopes will take the locusts towards the
Red Sea, and Saud Arabia. The department also plans to use crop duster
planes to address the infestation.
My Note: They hope the locusts will go towards Saudi Arabia? – …now that’s
funny! The timing of the locusts is amazing--Abba is sending a message. The
Word shows us that in the tribulation period, all the plagues of Egypt will
return. But, this particular one carries a powerful message for us now.

Israel on alert as locusts cross in from Egypt
By TIA GOLDENBERG | Associated Press – 5 hrs ago
March 4, 2013
JERUSALEM (AP) — A swarm of locusts crossed into Israel from
neighboring Egypt Monday, raising fears that Israel could be hit with
a biblical plague ahead of the Passover holiday.
Israel sent out planes to spray pesticides over agricultural fields to prevent
damage by the small swarm, which numbers about 2,000 locusts, said Dafna
Yurista, a spokeswoman for the Agriculture Ministry. The ministry also set up
an emergency hotline and asked Israelis to be vigilant in reporting locust
sightings. The locust alert comes ahead of the weeklong Passover festival,
which recounts the biblical story of the Israelite exodus from Egypt.
According to the Bible, a huge swarm of locusts was the eighth of 10 plagues
God imposed on Egyptians to persuade Pharoah to free the ancient Hebrews
from slavery. Pharaoh did not agree to let them go until after the 10th
plague, the death of the first born in every Egyptian family.
This year Passover begins March 25.
Locusts can have a devastating effect on agriculture by quickly stripping
crops. Farmers told Israeli media they were worried about a potential
onslaught. "(The locusts) may not have ruined Pharaoh, but they could ruin
us," Tzachi Rimon, a farmer, told Israel's Channel 10 TV.
Yurista said the number of locusts was relatively small, but "just because
they aren't many doesn't mean we are ignoring them."
Locusts are known to move with the wind, and the swarm was swept
eastwards from Egypt, said Amir Ayali, who heads Tel Aviv University's
zoology department, on Channel 10 TV. The last time Israel experienced a
major locust outbreak was in 2004.
Egypt's state news agency MENA said more than 17,000 locusts were
exterminated in an area spanning more than 84,000 acres.
My note: If the locust don’t have proper passport documentation to cross
into Israel, they should be arrested and held for dinner. Maybe John the
immerser would like to have them. I know, I see the humorous side of this,
but the implications of the return of this particular plague at this time are
HUGE! The 10 plagues will all return in full force during the next two years.
Also, refer to the complete study on the plagues, also attached: “The Plagues
on Ancient Egypt, the Future Tribulation Judgments, and The Final Judgment of the
Pagan Gods”/June 11, 2010
The following excerpt is from the above mentioned study-article of mine on
the plagues, which gives the past and future plagues, and shows how
Yahuweh punished specific Egyptian gods by the plagues.
***My update March 5, 2013: In reading this excerpt about the locusts
plague happening now, take note that it refers to the son of
Nimrod/Osiris/Apollyon--who comes up out of the earth and reincarnates,
who thinks of himself as god. Watch! He is possibly “the One” who is about
to come to Jerusalem six days before rabbinic Passover, March 20-22, 2013,
to once again try to force Israel to divide their land, the land given to them
by Yahuweh. He has been referred to numerous times as the “sun god”.
Egyptians have labeled him “the new world Pharaoh”/2009. Also, as you will
read, these locusts are a sign of the coming of the false prophet, the next
pope (“Petrus Romanus”) who also is a Beast that comes up out of the
earth. (Revelation 9:11 and 13:11-18) Notice the message of Yahuweh!
Regarding the locusts, page 12ff:
The Eighth Plague on Egypt: Locusts Exodus 10:4-19
One Pharaoh of the XIIth Dynasty, Amenemhet, classed a plague of locusts as a
calamity similar to a civil war, or to famine resulting from the failure of the Nile.
The god Senehem is pictured in ancient Egypt as a locust.
Exodus 10:4-5: “…if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I am
bringing locusts within your borders. And they shall cover the surface of the land,
so that no one is able to see the land. And they shall eat the rest of what has
escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which
grows up for you out of the field”.
The literal Hebrew expression in verse 5 is: “the eye of the earth” is now darkened
by the locusts. This is significant in view of the frequent references such as “the
eye of Horus”, and the “eye of Amen-Ra”, the sun god. As the locusts darkened the
sun’s light, the “eye of the earth” was darkened. The Egyptian version of the pagan
sun god, Amen-Ra, was discredited. It is interesting to note that in ancient
drawings Amen-Ra is dressed in the same hat and cloak that the Roman
Catholic Pope wears, holds the same staff that the Pope carries, and that his
garments are covered totally with the ancient fertility symbol of the Tau
cross. (Tau is the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet and is the T or t. The
cross symbol also stands for the name of the first sun god--Tammuz).
It is also interesting that the “eye of Horus” appears above the pyramid on the
back of the U.S. dollar bill also.
The Tribulation Plague:
In Revelation 9:1-11, we have a description of the tribulation “locusts”. They
come out of the deepest pit of the earth. Verses 3-5, 11: “And the sun was
darkened, also the air, because of the smoke of the pit. And, out of the smoke
locusts came upon the earth and authority was given to them, as the scorpions of
the earth possess authority. And it was given to them that they shall not harm the
grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not
have the seal of Elohim upon their foreheads…their torture was like the torture of
a scorpion when it stings a man. And, they have over them a sovereign, the angel of
the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has he name
Apollyon”.
[My insert March 5, 2013: Could the locusts of our day be a spiritual sign of
the coming of Apollyon to rule the world? Locusts destroy crops – food –
bringing famine. The world is in famine conditions now. The very word
“Apollyon” or “apolia” in II Thessalonians 2:3, in describing the first Beast of
Revelation 12, means “destroyer”. Think about that! Is this plague announcing
some One – the destroyer, the son of Lucifer, the reincarnated Nimrod?]
The verses in between may describe modern warfare equipment--helicopters for
example. The sting could be from some modern technology. These locusts are not
like the locusts in Egypt--they don’t eat green things. They could also be demons.
Demons have been known to literally sting people, producing welts on their bodies,
to the point where they want to die. But, in this tribulation plague, Yahuweh makes
sure that no one can die, even if they want to. The tribulation “locusts” are
designed to torment those who have taken “the mark of the beast”, for five
months. Only those marked by Yahuweh, because of their allegiance to Him, are
saved from this torment.
What modern gods are discredited by the stinging locusts of the tribulation?
The “god-man” is discredited! He cannot even control his own death. He
gnaws his tongue in pain, and cannot control anything. (Revelation 16:10-11)
The belief that man is god, from the Garden of Eden, is exposed as a hoax. All of
man’s Gnostic dreams from Lucifer’s tree of the knowledge (gnosis) of good and
evil, to produce a world of his making, to rule with power and wealth, is destroyed
totally. The great “Arian” race, which he has tried to invent, is now reduced to
survival at best. All of man’s knowledge in the sciences and medicine is useless.
Yahuweh is in control, and no man can do anything about it. His gods and idols-Lucifer, power, wealth, his pagan gods of nature, his belief in his own self as god, is
gone forever. Isaiah 2:7-22 is a powerful picture of how Yahuweh humbles the
loftiness of man. Verse 17: “And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and
the pride of men shall be brought low. And Yahuweh alone shall be exalted in
that day”.
AMEN, AMEN!!!
