Provide support in the startup phase of the CEC, the development and maintenance of clinical
research infrastructure related to the project, and the coordination of potential NCI, extramural
and international participants. Establish and manage the Cancer Experts Corps, a cadre of experts
to assist the cancer disparities institutions as they develop their clinical research programs. Assist
in the development of the necessary research infrastructure, including recruiting and coordinating

as well as overseeing the inception of the mobile mammography program that provided
screening mammograms to women in the corporate and underserved community.
Grant writing and supervision of grant applications, budgets, and personnel, setting
clinical and operational standards for both programs. Evaluated, enrolled and provided
data monitoring for patients entered onto Phase II and III clinical trials.
Promoted outreach and education about breast cancer in the community and served on
several boards of organizations that were involved with breast cancer and community
outreach.
Provided clinical breast exam training to nurses and physicians and certification as
MammaCare™ Specialists as an Associate Director of Training for the Mammatech
