MUSCULOSKELETAL IMAGING FELLOWSHIP, University of Utah, Department of Radiology
The University of Utah MSK Imaging Fellowship is expanding with an additional position beginning July
2016. The well-rounded fellowship is supported by a strong orthopaedic department housed in the
Utah Orthopaedic Center and an active sarcoma service at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The
fellowship is comprised of multimodality MSK imaging with an MR emphasis including sports medicine,
rheumatologic, and sarcoma imaging. The MSK fellows lead an active procedure service, which includes
a high volume of US and fluoro-guided procedures and includes CT and ultrasound guided
biopsies. Educational activities include monthly journal club and spine conferences, weekly sarcoma
tumor conference, and bimonthly case review conferences, including arthrosopic correlation.
The University of Utah Hospital, the Utah Orthopaedic Center, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute house
6 CT and 10 clinical MRI scanners providing state-of-the-art imaging.
In order to apply for this fellowship you must also qualify for a State of Utah Medical License, which
requires 2 years of ACGME training in the United States. If you meet these qualifications, please feel
free to submit your inquiry or application as listed below.
