Three month project training on JSP, Struts and Database (Hibernate, JPA), worked
on a project named MyTutor from Swarnim InfoSoft Pvt. Ltd. (Jun 2010).My Tutor is a
Web based project for online tuting in which profile of tutor and students exist online.
Students can access profile of required tutor online and get tuition online. It provides
facility for FAQ and feedback. It is a project mainly focused on Database application using
Hibernate Framework.

Designed and developed web site applications using J2EE, XML, EJB, Servlets, and JSP under the Apache
Struts Framework. This system provides functionality of community website and access to Created
complex SQL and used JDBC connectivity to access the database.
The Administrator has control to manage member accounts and report status of user. Technologies

Chat Server(Java project)
Description: This Application is used to provide support for online chatting. It provides access to
single user toConnect with multiple users at a time and chat with them.
It also take care of users login, registration, authentication and users profile.
Technology used: J2SE, Applets, Swing, Database Oracle 10i, JDBC for database connectivity &
operation, MyEclipse editor.
Role: Done coding, database and GUI work in java.
Application Layer FireWall (final year)
Description: It is a Swing based application whose main purpose is to provide firewall security to
the system on which it is implemented. It is designed to work at Http and Ftp level protocol. It
filters all requests coming to the http and Ftp protocol at specified port.
It not only provides gateway level filtering but also content based filtering that ensures that
packet containing spam and malicious content will not be allowed.
Technology used: J2SE, AWT, Swing, MySql 5.x (Database), Jdbc for database operations.
Role: Done graphics coding and worked on content filtering and Database.
Community
Description: It was web based project for providing training online, providing forum, blog, tutorial
facility to the user. User may be a visitor to the site or registered member or Administrator.
According to the role user get the services and accessibility. User can give feedback and do FAQ,s
if they need.
