 Responsible for Database administration of production, test and development Oracle

8.1.6. Supported UDB databases from a SysAdmin standpoint.
 Performed Storage Area Network (SAN) disk configuration on both Hitachi and EMC
SAN arrays, including Business Continuance Volumes (BCV’s).

to 2.1 Terabytes. RDBMS versions have varied from 7.3.3.6 to 8.1.5.1.
 Implemented backup / recovery strategy for all databases on this project.
 Planned and led all upgrades and migrations for these databases.
 Wrote monitoring tools which send pages when negative events occur
(Instance unavailable, tablespace nearing full, resource limit met etc.).
 Wrote tools to aid in large database migrations from existing hardware to new hardware.
