How does your heart work?
Aim
To annotate a diagram of the heart and explain how it works.
The heart is part of the circulatory system and contains a volume of about 0.5 litres. This organ is
vital, as it pumps the blood around your body. Without it, all the cells would die as they would not
have the chemicals they need to live.
On the diagram below:

Colour in blue the areas where deoxygenated blood would be found.

Colour in red the areas where oxygenated blood would be found.

Add black arrows onto the diagram to show the direction of the blood flow in the organ.
