Verify the Course Information Report for the Summer PEIMS Course Information for all courses taught this year. For year-long courses and semester-long courses, you should see a valid Sequence Code listed. Have you had your list verified and signed by your campus counselor(s). Has every day of attendance been verified? Have you checked your school calendar to make sure all waivered days have been taken off of attendance? Have all reports been printed, verified, and signed by the Attendance Clerk and campus principal? Are all other attendance records (notes, signed teacher attendance sheets, copies of court filing letters, and other miscellaneous attendance records) ready to be boxed and saved for the year? If you have made any coding changes for student special program participation that will affect previous six weeks’ attendance records, you must rerun the Daily Register for every six weeks that have been affected by the coding change. (It does not hurt to rerun your Daily Register once more for each six weeks.) Is all discipline information (related to PEIMS 425 records) entered into Skyward? Have your reports been verified and signed by your campus administrator(s) for discipline? Is all information entered? Has your list been verified and signed by your campus principal? Verify fatal error-free status with Skyward Pre-PEIMS Edits. The PEIMS Coordinator will let you know of any errors on TEA Edit+ through her TEASE account log-in because the Skyward PEIMS file extraction is done for the entire district, not for each campus. Read and research all Warning and Special Warning messages to ensure data accuracy (birth date out of range for grade, two or more last names, etc.) (Give your list of students out or range for grade to your campus counselor so they can research for Retention/At-Risk status.) Use the Edit+ PID validation reports provided by the PEIMS Coordinator through her TEASE account log-in to research and correct any PIDS discrepancies This information will be used to generate student enrollment forms, district mail-outs, and other records related to the students’ next year status (PEIMS Edit+ Principal Approval Letter) Get your campus Principal to sign the Principal Approval Letter, Comparison of Current and Prior Year Attendance, and Student Disciplinary Action Summary reports by June 09, 2010; copy to PEIMS Coordinator Sign and date this form, send copy to PEIMS Coordinator, and file appropriately. This verification form is to be kept with the PEIMS Binder and filed for Castleberry ISD and TEA audit purposes. Send one copy to the district PEIMS Coordinator for Superintendent review before June 10, 2010.
