Nature of the urgent problem(s) and reasons for urgent action: Infectious salmon anaemia is a notifiable disease in Argentina and also appears on the list of diseases not present in the area of the upper Limay river basin and Alicurá dam, which was set forth in SENASA Resolution No. 375 of 8 August 2013. Very stringent administrative and technical control and prevention measures are necessary to maintain the area's health status. It is therefore vital to implement special measures to prevent infectious salmon anaemia from entering the above-mentioned area - a situation that would affect the current health status. Following the entry into force of Resolution No. 375/13, a sanitary corridor was established for trucks from the Republic of Chile carrying live aquaculture materials or other risk items in transit from Chile to Chile. This led to the adoption of route control measures for trucks transiting in both directions, given the risk of overturning in areas adjoining the lakes, rivers and reservoir that have been declared free of the above-mentioned disease. 9.
