History Overview - Steel Enclosure
What line of enclosures are we discussing? Steel Enclosures Only!
• Weidmuller solely owned enclosure production
STB - Series
Klippon Enclosures – Sheerness England
NexT - Series
• Weidmuller sold production rights & facility to CCH
• Uses CCH as primary supplier
2003
• Due to channel conflict issues Weidmuller gets
back into producing their own new line of enclosures
via alternate suppliers
2007
Nevertheless, CCH keeps rights to produce old line of
enclosures for themselves and other Weidmuller affiliates
TB - Series
• Weidmuller Builds their own production facility to
produce present steel enclosure line
2010
Weidmuller-US does not make full transition to
Weidmuller – Germany’s new offering even after
development of new facility. Only Canada and
Mexico currently promote Weidmuller-Germany’s line
of enclosures
