A. Personal Statement
During my time after residency I have been a mentor to numerous mid-level practitioners. This duty is
essential to the development of their clinical skills and medical knowledge. Even more important, I try to instill
in them the compassion and empathy that is required to be a more complete medical provider. I plan to extend
my teachings to the residents of our new program with the hopes of them becoming ideal family medicine
clinicians.
