*BEHAVIORAL PEDIATRICIAN (1-FT Preferred)

DUTIES: Reliably obtains health histories, assesses psychiatric and other medical conditions and assigns
diagnoses. Provides medication management, treatment recommendations, patient education regarding condition
and medications, health issues, etc. Initiates treatment and referrals for care as appropriate. Consistently maintains
accurate, complete and concise electronic documentation, including prescribing. **Will alternate between Cape and
Ortiz Campuses**
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have graduated from an accredited Medical school; Board Certified in Pediatrics by the
American Bd. of Pediatrics preferred (Bd. Eligible required); trained in Child Psychiatry; previous addictions or
community mental health experience a plus. Must possess a clear/active FL license as a Physician. Excellent
customer service, positive attitude, communication and organizational skills a must. Basic computer skills required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Requires ability to attain competency with the company electronic medical

CRISIS STABILIZATION UNITS

DUTIES: Interacts with clients and their family members, by phone and during scheduled/unscheduled group
activities. Conducts phase of day care, which includes assisting clients with activities of daily living, social
recreation, and other unit program activities, such as community meeting, basic living skills, and wrap-up groups.
They supervise clients during meals & snacks, maintain client and unit safety, monitor client behavior, and assist
with admission and discharge process, working effectively as a team and in conjunction with other staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a HS diploma/equivalent and either 1-yr direct-care experience in a human services
field OR the successful completion of the equivalent of 30 semester/credit hours towards an undergraduate

DUTIES: Responsible for supervision of all clinical functions of CSU/ES behavioral healthcare. AOC responsibilities

DUTIES: Discharge planning activities for mental health and substance abuse patients leaving the CSU.

*INPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST (FT Preferred)

DUTIES: Acute Care Psychiatrists perform psychiatric evaluations in acute care settings with an emphasis on the
child & adolescent population. They perform medication management, provide consultation, second opinions, and
appear in mental health hearings as needed. At the discretion of the Chief Medical Officer and according to census
and established medical need for services, Psychiatrists may be assigned to CCSU, Adult CSU, or Emergency
Services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate from an accredited medical school. Must be Board Eligible in Psychiatry
by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Board Certified preferred). Requires 5 years’ post-residency
work experience and a demonstrated interest in treating the acute care and child/adolescent population. Must have
an active and clear FL medical license and an active DEA certificate. Previous addictions or community mental
health experience a plus.
*PHLEBOTOMIST (2-PRN)

DUTIES: Will serve patients by collecting, preparing and transporting blood specimens for clinical analysis,
evaluations and/or diagnostic purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a HS diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certificate preferred. Medical assistance
training preferred. Must have at least 1 year of experience.

*STAFF/SHIFT SCHEDULER (1-FT)
Supervisor: Alejandro Garcia-Barbon
DUTIES: Will provide staffing coordination to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained.
Effectively works with supervisor and managers to create and follow a master staffing schedule for the Adult Crisis
Stabilization Unit (CSU), Children’s CSU/Addiction Receiving Facility, Emergency Services department and Detox
units. Accurately and completely prepares staffing sheets with continual revisions as necessary. Routinely works
with managers to schedule PTO requests according to guidelines. Effectively collaborates with managers to cover
last minute call-offs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and 1 year of FT experience as a staff scheduler in a
healthcare environment OR a minimum of an AA/AS Degree in a human services field and 1 year of office
experience working in a residential/inpatient program. Must be able to effectively use MS Word and Excel. Must
possess the ability to rapidly learn new software programs, as needed. Demonstrated exceptional organizational
and time management skills required.

DUTIES: Provide varied secretarial & programming support for CSU’s, including data entry, admission/discharge
information, census, billing, filing, copying, faxing, routing mail and all functions related to clinical records (EMR),
including chart auditing and processing. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports. Process purchasing and
maintenance requests, monthly quality reviews. Supply Unit galleys and office supplies, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a HS diploma/equivalent and one year clerical or direct-care experience in a
health/human services field OR an AA/AS degree in a human services field from an accredited college/university
OR completion of the equivalent of 60 semester/credit hours towards a BA/BS degree in a human services field

health services for the Adult and Child SPMI (Serious and persistent mental illness) community based population.

clinical and operational functions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a MA/MS degree in a human services field (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT licensure preferred).

DUTIES: Enter patient information into County Homeless Management Information System; effectively coordinates

source and routinely monitors for changes. Provides conflict resolution to patients served.

limited to, the development and maintenance of necessary daily living skills, food planning and preparation, money
management, maintenance of the living environment, and training in appropriate use of community services and
resources, as well as the facilitation of cognitive and socialization skills for effective life management.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a HS diploma with a Behavioral Health Technician certification OR a BA/BS degree
in a Human Service field from an accredited college or university. Must be proficient in Windows based computer
operating system. Requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a reliable vehicle and a good driving record.
*SUPPORT SPECIALIST III (1-FT)

FORENSIC COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES TEAM
*DIVERSION CASE MANAGER (1-FT)

DUTIES: Reduce risk of recidivism among adults with severe mental illnesses, including those with co-occurring
substance abuse disorders, who are involved in the criminal justice system, through assessment, linkage to needed
services and monitoring. Will collaborate with Criminal Justice system to promote access to services in instances
where incarceration may not be necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a BA/BS degree in a human service field from an accredited college or university.
One year full time experience working with adults with mental illness. Must be proficient in Windows based
computer operating system. Requires a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, a reliable vehicle and a good
driving record. Experience in criminal justice system preferred.
*FORENSIC SPECIALIST (1-FT)

DUTIES: Monitors legal and mental health status of consumers who are at risk of or determined by the courts to
be Incompetent to Proceed and/or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity and/or on a conditional release on a felony
charge. Offers assistance to expedite resolution of legal problems and identifies and facilitates diversion by offering
viable alternatives to incarnation/hospitalization with careful consideration of F.S. 916 and F.S. 394 and related
resources.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a BA/BS degree in a human service field from an accredited college or university.
One year experience working with adults with mental health disorders. Co-occurring substance abuse experience
preferred. Requires ability to attain competency with the company electronic medical records and use it effectively

INDEPENDENT LIVING TEAM

DUTIES: Works with mental health consumers in an effort to effectively link them to needed resources,
coordinated such resources as necessary, and monitor the implementation of such. Examples of such may include,
but are not limited to, psychiatric services, rehabilitation services, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid,
Patient Assistance Programs, family members, landlords, and employers. Links and coordinates resources in a
manner that promotes consumer independence.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a BA/BS in a human services field and 1 year of full-time experience working with
adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Requires ability to attain competency with the company electronic
medical records and use it effectively within the required time frames. Requires a valid FL driver’s license with good

medication, and referrals to appropriate services within SalusCare.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires either a Master’s degree in Nursing with 2 years’ experience as a Psychiatric ARNP
OR a Master’s degree in Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-or similar. Must possess a clear/active FL
license as an ARNP. ANCC certificate in Psychiatry/Mental Health Specialty required.

addictions and/or community mental health experience a plus.

DUTIES: Will provide client vitals, create/update treatment plans, provide client education, medication, and
respond to questions, obtain prior authorizations, call prescriptions into pharmacy under doctor instruction,
administer injections, schedule appointments and enter dates into the electronic record.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires an LPN certificate and a valid FL nursing license. Experience in mental health &
substance abuse a plus. Basic computer and typing skills required. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer
service skills, a great attitude and a desire to help people. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Facilitate groups addressing above noted skills development, extensive work with individuals with history of
homelessness, provide supportive housing services. Work as part of dedicated treatment team. Some community
outreach will be required. Documentation is a vital part of this position. Patient transportation will be required.
