Heirloom. Deep red, globe-shaped roots with
excellent flavour. Main canning variety for the home
gardener. Remains juicy and tender, regardless of
size. Stores well.
EARLY WONDER
Heirloom. Globe-shaped, dark red roots with lighter
bands. Early variety with sweet flavour. Good for
summer planting.
GOLDEN
Heirloom. Beautiful, round, golden-yellow roots that
don’t bleed or colour other foods. Retains sweet,
rich flavour, even when large. Excellent pickling
variety.
SUGARBEET
Grown for the large creamy-white root used for
sugar extraction, sweetening preserves, and animal
fodder. Tasty and nutritious leafy greens are used
like silverbeet.

CELERIAC
Also known as ‘Turnip Rooted Celery’. Grown for the large,
swollen base of the stem. Harvest bulbs when around

Early variety with a medium sized swollen bulb to
