In shoulder region there

Glenohumeral Joint
(GH)
Sternoclavicular

joint (AC)
Bones of Shoulder
Girdle
Scapula
Humerus
Clavicle
Glenohumeral Joint
Comprised of the
rounded medial
anterior surface of the
humerus and the
glenoid fossa
The shallow surface of
the GH joint and the
connective tissue at
the joint allows the
arm a large degree of
motion
Sternoclavicular Joint
At the medial end of
the clavicle and the
manubrium, which is
the top most portion of
the sternum
Acromioclavicular
Joint
Where the acromial
process of the scapula
meets the clavicle
Acromioclavicular
Joint
Joint where the

scapula meets the
clavicle
Ligaments
Glenoid Labrum
Fibrocartilage rim
