In IoT system, it is necessary to connect the sensing devices to the
cloud platform stably. Therefore, we are developing the wireless
network technology to use them stably and establish and operate
the wireless networks automatically without manpower. We are also
conducting R&D on the sensing technology to use energy harvesting
that can be used easily even at the place where no power source is
available, and the prototyping technology to quickly develop a
sensing device which is required at each site.
Usage of IoT devices such as sensors is getting diversified along with
the increase of the locations where they are used, and their
management methods are also getting complicated and increased
enormously, e.g. when and how to collect the required data, etc.
Therefore, we are developing the technology to keep monitoring the
status of wireless networks that connect various IoT devices and to
manage these IoT field-area environments autonomously by
automatically correcting the data of their behaviors from remote
place before any problem occurs.

Now miniaturization of semiconductor is reaching its limitations, and
it will become impossible to keep the performance improvement rate
of the past years with a conventional von Neumann computing.
Targeting the drastic performance enhancement required for the

computing, which are non-von Neumann architecture.
Nanocarbon materials represented by graphene, carbon nanotube
have far excellent properties surpassing the silicon semiconductor,
and are considered to bring about the breakthrough in electronic
