Directed the managed care psychiatric PPO component that had over 130 providers. 1985 - 1998 Integrated Health Management - Psychiatric Medical Director: A multidisciplinary Occupational health outpatient clinic providing medical case management, independent psychiatric exams, psychotherapy, psychiatric case management, psychometric testing, pain management, stress claim investigations, -2- psychiatric impairment ratings, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress treatment, EAP services, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, and a Intensive Outpatient Pain Management Program. 1985 - 1994 Medical Director, STRESSWATCH, INC - Served as Medical Director and founder of a company providing occupational psychiatric services, case management, psychometric testing, pain management and stress claim investigations. 1989 - 1990 Medical Director, Bowling Green of Colorado Hospital - Served as the Medical Director of this 40-bed adult chemical dependency and psychiatric unit. Responsibilities included supervising the entire clinical and nursing staff and serving on the Medical Executive, Quality Assurance, and Utilization Review committees. 1983 - 1988 HealthWatch Medical Centers - Director of Behavioral Medicine - Organized and supervised the psychiatric assessments, treatment and consultations for this Occupational Health Clinic network. Served as the main consultant for all Disability, Worker's Comp, and chronic pain cases needing psychiatric evaluation/case management. Provided EAP services to their clients. 1986 - 1988 Medical Director, Horizon Hospital, In-Patient Adolescent Psychiatric Unit Hired by Republic Health Corporation to direct a 25-bed adolescent substance abuse and psychiatric unit. Responsibilities included supervising and directing the entire clinical staff and program, and serving as the liaison to the Medical Staff. 1986 Testimony - State of Colorado, Certificate of Needs Committee, Psychiatry. 1984 - 1987 Mt. Airy Hospital - Active member, Utilization Review Committee. 1984 - 1986 Medical Director, Mercy Medical Center, In-Patient Adolescent Psychiatry Hired by CompCare Corporation to develop and organize a 20-bed clinical program. Responsibilities included supervising all nursing, therapy, and ancillary staff, ongoing directorship of the Unit, serving as a liaison to Hospital Administration and Medical Staff, and monitoring the quality of treatment. Vice-Chief, Department of Behavioral Medicine, Mercy Medical Center Responsibilities included organizing a Department of Psychiatry for Mercy Medical Center, set up standards and bylaws for physicians and the hospital, and organized the Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Committees. 1982 - 1984 Aurora Mental Health Center - Staff Psychiatrist: Served as the Medical Director of a 15-bed, half-way house, supervised the Outpatient and Emergency Services teams, evaluated all types of patients for diagnosis, medications and treatment plans.
