SBM Week in San Diego Music, Dance, Theatre If you are interested in attending a local music, dance, or theatre event, we recommend that you start by checking ARTS TIX . . . ARTS TIX sells “last minute tickets” at rates as low as half the usual price, for local music, dance and theatre events. Tickets are sold in person at the ARTS TIX Booth downtown (corner of 3rd Ave and Broadway on Broadway Circle, just in front of Horton Plaza) and online. ARTS TIX accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards as payment, as well as cash, GIFT TIX, and traveler's checks. A service charge (with an additional $3 charge for on-line purchase) will be applied). ARTS TIX Booth Hours Tuesday through Thursday: 11:00am - 6:00pm Friday and Saturday: 10:00am - 6:00pm Sunday: 10:00am - 5:00pm (Closed Monday and select holidays) http://www.sandiegoperforms.com/ARTSTIX/index.html ARTS TIX Rules and Regulations Discount tickets are sold on the DAY OF THE SHOW, with special advance ½ price and full-price tickets going on sale prior to that. ARTS TIX is closed Monday so those shows are sold on Sunday. After Sunday, tickets for Monday performances are unavailable. Online sales begin the evening before the show and matinee performances are usually sold one day prior to the performance. There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets purchased. While ARTS TIX doesn't carry every event in San Diego, there is usually a good variety of shows to choose from. Availability is not guaranteed for all shows listed and the half-price list is NOT updated when a show sells out. Discount tickets are sold on a "best available" basis; you may not select your seats.
