ADDING A HEALTHY BOOST TO YOUR JUICE
Spirulina: Spirulina is a highly nutritious micro salt water plant. It contains
rich vegetable protein and multi Vitamins including vitamin B12 which is
particularly lacking in a vegetarian diet. It contains a wide range of minerals
including iron, potassium and magnesium and a high volume of Beta- carotene
which protects cells 5 times more than carrots and 40 times more than
spinach!
Cacao: Cacao, or raw chocolate, is known to be one of the highest sources
of antioxidant foods on the planet! It is also known to be one of the most
concentrated sources of magnesium found in nature. Magnesium can help to
fight fatigue and help with muscle and nerve function. Cacao is referred to as
the “happy superfood” as it contains the amino acid tryptophan which
promotes the creation of serotonin.
LSA:LSA is made up from linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds. LSA is rich
in protein and helps to keep your blood sugar levels balanced. LSA is often
used to cleanse and detox the liver which plays a very important role within
your body as it is the filter for your blood stream.
Chia: Chia seeds contain a wide variety of “good stuff” from loads of
antioxidants to more omega 3 than salmon! Chia can enhance sports
performance as much as a sports drink and many experts believe that chia
can help with weight loss by reducing cravings and appetite because of its
high protein content.
Ginger: Ginger has a very long history of use in various forms of traditional
and alternative medicine. It is used to help treat nausea, digestion and even
the common cold. Ginger has anti inflammatory properties which can help to
relieve muscle soreness and osteoarthritis.
RAW protein isolate powder: RAW protein powder is certified organic,
vegan and low in carbs. It is made up of golden pea and brown rice with
optimal gut health in mind. RAW protein powder is a prebiotic, dairy free
protein that can raise energy levels and assist with building muscle and
strength.
Wheatgrass: Wheatgrass has some impressive nutritional stats. It’s an
excellent source of chlorophyll, vitamin A, C and E, and to top it all off
wheatgrass contains 98 of 102 earth elements found in soil, including calcium,
iron, magnesium, and potassium. Wheatgrass is said to do many amazing
things from reducing body odour to stimulating circulation.
