There are two main types of dental bleaching: a. Zoom3: Light-accelerated bleaching, sometimes referred to as laser bleaching (a common misconception since UVA is used and not laser), uses light ener gy to accelerate the process of bleaching in a dental office. This process is usually completed in less than an hour in the dental office. b. Home Bleaching: In-home bleaching uses a custom-fitted tray and a bleaching agent to whiten your teeth. Digital Radiography: Is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. The main advantage of this technology is that it exposes the patient to a much less radiation. b. 3D Cone Beam C. T. Scan: Cone Beam imaging generates views of the bones of the face, the teeth, and other details from any angle, in 3D and in color, to help your doctor to have accurate and complete information to plan your treatment.
