The 2016 International Conference on Contaminated Land, Ecological Assessment and Remediation (CLEAR 2016) will provide a platform for interaction between scientists, consultants and policy makers, who are responsible for improving our environment in order to cope with the rapid industrial development. The 1st and the 2nd CLEAR conference were successfully held in Hangzhou, China, on November 4‐8, 2012 and in Chuncheon, Korea, on October 5‐8, 2014, respectively. The conference focuses on the issues of environmental pollution & remediation (heavy metals, persistent organic/inorganic pollutants, emerging chemicals etc.), ecological assessment and environmental & health risk assessments. We are glad to inform you that the 3rd CLEAR will be held at GIS Convention Center of National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, on November 20‐27, 2016, including 3 days (Nov 21‐23) for technical sessions and 3 days (Nov 24‐26) for excursion program in Taiwan. Taipei is home to various world‐famous architectural and cultural landmarks. In addition, delicious meals in various food styles can be found within the conference venue. We deeply look forward to your participation in CLEAR 2016.
