Não desande a correr, dê tempo à audiência para que se desligue do discurso anterior e se adapte ao seu tópico e ao seu estilo. A função da Introdução (além de introduzir o assunto) também é esta Um resumo no início (outline) também ajuda 23 3 “No cais”: Uma boa Introdução motiva os ouvintes O que quer saber o ouvinte no início da apresentação: 1. Sobre que é a apresentação ? (área do estudo, como se enquadra num panorama geral, qual é o assunto especificamente ?) 2. Porquê tenho de ouvi-la ? (porque era preciso de fazer o trabalho e qual a sua importância ?) 3. O que preciso saber para perceber ? (encaixar nos seus conhecimentos existentes) 4. Qual será a estrutura / lógica da apresentação ? Outline 24 3 “No cais”: Uma boa Introdução vale metade da apresentação I n í c i o meio F i m Uma boa introdução: 1. Motiva a audiência 2. Dá orientação à apresentação 3. As vezes é tudo que um ouvinte está disposto de ouvir… 25 4 “At the see”: Como não perder a audiência durante o discurso ?
