Hi everyone! God bless us all today, I am Nimfa Yahaba from Bukidnon,
Mindanao, Philippines. I am blessed with 7 kids and 12 grandkids and I
was widowed twice now I am happily married to a Japanese national so
I should say, Yoroshiku onegaishimasu <3. Please bear with me
Thanks be to God! Thank you so much Admin/staff of Firelink
Community International for counting me in. At first when I received
the invitation, I felt reluctant/ hesitant because I know that I have an
accent in speaking English, much more in Japanese. Ha ha ha! I did
explain this to Anie yet God’s plan directed them and I remembered the
word He said to me in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect for weaknesses. Therefore, most gladly I
will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest
upon me.” Shall we all bow down in prayer:
It’s not about me/us, It’s all about the LORD and His message toward us
today. I believe God keeps blessing us the hunger and thirst of His
Righteousness, so as to desire for more of Him and His ultimate plan.
Please allow me to share as we celebrate His presence today. (Matt.
18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with
them.”) (John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.”) (John 8:32 Ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall set you free.”) Freedom to understand.
Our topic is A LIFE FULL OF LOVE. In Goodness and Faithfulness of God.
Last 2/14, the world celebrated Valentine’s day, Some Christians even
greeted “Happy Hearts day!” Posted at Facebook, Instagram and in
other social media. There’s nothing wrong with it yet it seems
something is lacking. Is that all? Was that enough? (Eph 3:16-18 “I pray
that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with
inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in
your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s
love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to
understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high,
and how deep his love is.”)
Christ Jesus is the unconditional love to give everyday and not just in a
day. But we just can’t do this unless we remain in Him and in His words.
(John 15:4 “4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear
fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit
unless you remain in me.) Types of LOVE, I was always guessing, maybe
he is the one.. So as a young lady during Valentines Day, 2 things will
most likely happen. Either happy and tired or sad and devastated.
Because I was conforming to the pattern of this world I still didn’t know
what (Rom 12:1-2 “I beseech [a] you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. 2 And do not be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect
will of God.”) says, 1 Cor 3:16-17 “Don’t you know that you yourselves
are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If
anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s
temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” and even James
4:4 “You adulterous people,[a] don’t you know that friendship with the
world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to
be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” I was bounded by
“Eros” love and Thanks be to God HE delivered me!
Eros refers to physical or sexual love
Philos or Philia means warm affection or friendship
Agape is the sacrificial, Unconditional love of GOD.
*Types of love at the internet can be 3,4,6 or 8
Main thing Agape Love- Selfless love – an empathetic attitude of love
for everyone and anyone.
-Love catalyst- Spirit
-ways to show this love – Express unconditional love in any situation.
(Regardless or no matter what)
(Affection without limitations)
(or love without conditions)
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Our life is full of love because of God’s goodness and Faithfulness to us,
May we all know today that apart from Agape love there is no
satisfaction because only Jesus can satisfy our soul. (John 4:14 but
whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But
the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water
springing up into everlasting life.”) Jesus is the agape love and the life
no one comes to the father but by ME. John 14:6
Love is the root of every good and perfect thing and is connected to
every answer of every need. Love conquers all! Love begets love. 1 Cor
13:1-13 “13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not
have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have
the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I
am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to
hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is
not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not
easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge,
it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but
when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a
child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For
now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to
face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully
known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the
greatest of these is love.
John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for
one’s friends.”
John 15:4-5&7 “4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can
bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit
unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you
remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you
can do nothing.” 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask
whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s
glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
