Mimics other disorders, Lupus decreases in
females after menopause but steady in males,
Lupus can be caused from a combo of
enviromental and genetic factors.
Laboratory Tests
Fatigue. Fever Joint pain, stiffness and swelling.
Butterfly-shaped rash on the face that covers the cheeks and bridge of
the nose or rashes elsewhere on the body.
Skin lesions that appear or worsen with sun exposure.
Fingers and toes that turn white or blue when exposed to cold or
during stressful periods.

ANA's /SLE Prep (dsDNA, ssDNA,
Anti-DNP) Serum complement,
(C3,C4), ESR
CBC, Blood clotting time, Urine
test, tissue biopsy
