Cancer is an awful disease that has killed many people. When you have cancer, you are expected
to feel very sick, and are prone to passing away. If you do get diagnosed with cancer, there are certain
treatments that can give you the opportunity to fight the disease. The top-three methods for treating
cancer in the United States include not only surgery and chemotherapy, but radiation therapy as well,
with all three treatments having distinct advantages and disadvantages.
Chemotherapy kills tumor cells. Knowing how chemo works and what to expect, can help you
prepare for treatment and make proper decisions about your care. Chemotherapy can be used alone or
in combination to treat a wide variety of cancers. Chemotherapy is a very nice effective way of
attempting to remove cancer, however there are some side effects to it. These effects include nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, fever, hair loss, pain, and fatigue. If luck is on your side, it will all be worth it in the
end.
When you first hear that you have cancer, the feeling is awful. Thankfully, there are treatments to
help with your journey of recovery. Your life will now depend on not only surgery and chemotherapy,
but radiation therapy as well, with all three treatments having distinct advantages and disadvantages.
This process will be long and hard to overcome, but in the end you will hopefully be cancer free!
